Where the Meteor at

Meteor Predictor calculates how many meteors you'll actually see from your exact location — accounting for light pollution (Falchi 2016 / VIIRS satellite), live cloud cover, air quality, moon phase, and radiant geometry. Type your city, get a real number. No API keys, no manual inputs.

i made a meteor predictor to innovate i ask user for location and they can have the list meteor and best viewing time and angle i used other parameter such as pollution light in surrounding and aqi to improve output

Using flask for the first time was challenging ai eased the pain a bit but surely there were times where i regretted the project but at the end i loved it as any Hollywood film would say

i am proud that i was able to move outside my comfort zone and make a project with real parameters and make a io project that may actually help a niche amount of people

i tested most of the edge cases using ai for debugging but if occurs please do a pr or publish an issue would love to look into it the code is clean readable and was mentored by me as the v0 and v1 code was mainly written by me

first devlog
this is going to be about how this project is gonna be traced
firstly i would scrap the comets and hardcode them into my dataset
then i would make a engine that would calculate showers and predict them I’m using flask as I’m proficient in python to connect it to a html and then i would calculate how much meteor is visible ,viable angle using parameter like aqi sky clarity and latitude longitude i would later add dynamic location picker using map (in v0 u need to log latitude and longitude manually)
