Hey!I am building and rc car TX and rx system which I am installing to my dead old rc car with servo as steering system
Devlog #2— WiringWired HC-05 to Arduino (RX/TX with a voltage divider since HC-05 is 3.3V logic). Connected motor driver to the existing motors and Arduino digital pins. First power-up: no smoke, good sign.
Devlog #1 — Diagnosing the patientDug out my old RC car that’s been dead for a while. Popped open the chassis to check what’s actually broken. Tested the motors directly with a battery — they spin fine, so the problem is isolated to the RX/TX board. Decided to scrap the original electronics entirely and give this thing a new brain: Arduino Uno + HC-05 Bluetooth module, controlled from a generic Bluetooth RC app on my phone instead of the original remote
