Hi, I'm Tanisha Shah and I'm sophomore in high school. I've been coding for a few years but now I'm really just trying to learn new things.

Dev Log #3: Obstacles and Pause Menu
I added some more obstacles like moving platforms and jump pads. I made it so some of the moving platforms can be “fake” so that when you go to jump on it, you will fall straight through :).
I also added jump pads. They are normal (for now) and all they really do is boost up the player.
Finally, I added a pause menu where it pauses the game and allows you to back to the level menu.

I FINALLY finished the CAD. This time, I added some minor details like fillets and stuff and fixed the color palette. Now I just gotta finish up the firmware and then I’ll be ready to ship!

Dev Log #2: Levels and Spike Visibility
After finishing all the basic game mechanics, I began to work on the level changes. I made it so that if the player goes. through the door, they will teleport to the next level. I also made it save the in game progress. I still need to figure out how to make it save like an actual game (doesn’t restart your progress every time you open up the game).

I also changed the spike visibility so that when you press “E” or Space, some spikes will show up while the others will disappear. This is supposed to be the concept for the glasses. I’m gonna add more obstacles to the visibility like platforms and jump booster thingys. I also added a timer so you can only toggle it after 10 seconds so you don’t just spam the button to see everything.

Dev Log #1: Basic Mechanics
I started learning how to use godot and wanted to make a platformer game where you can’t see some of the obstacles. I really want to make it multiplayer but I think I’m going to make a single player version first

Potential Features:

  • Platformer with at least 3 levels
  • Invisible spikes and platforms
  • “Glasses” that help you see certain obstacles

(please ignore how all the art looks. I got it all off someone else’s work for free because I don’t wanna start with the art. I will fix the art some other time)

just finished the top plate and added holes for the USB port and the display. I gotta add some more details and stuff to finish it off and also change the colors since these are temporary. I also finished the camera lens (its just decor) but I feel like there’s something off about it I just don’t know what. Anything else I should add to it?

I was looking at my old case a realized that the screen would fall out of place if I lifted it up and I just decided to scrap it. So now I’ve been designing a new case but this time in the style of a polaroid camera. I think I’ve fixed the issues of it falling out and I think it’ll work better as an alarm clock since the screen is now not on the same side as the keys on the pcb. Anyways, I finished most of the case part. The only thing I really need to do is make the top plate, add some holes for the display, USB port, and buzzer, and add some designs to it

I started learning HTML, CSS, and Javascript and this is my first project using it. It’s a simple music player that goes through some songs. I’m hoping to add a feature where you can upload files into the music player that way you don’t need to do it through the code. I also want to fix the shuffle button but for now it works pretty well.

Hey, I just made a small ping pong game to learn some basics of pygame. I added my own little bits and quirks to it to make it something different. I hope you like it!
