Here are the main components powering Synth Runner as it stands today: Forced-Movement Engine: A constant-velocity controller that locks the player into strict 90-degree turns to mimic classic arcade high-speed mechanics. Massive Arena Boundary: A fixed 3000x2100 play area defined by a lethal neon perimeter that triggers an instant game-over upon contact. Self-Collision Detection: A tail-tracking system that checks the player's current position against their own trail, forcing the player to avoid their own path or face immediate termination. Safe-Spawn System: A procedural placement script that forces the player to spawn within a safe-zone margin, away from map edges to prevent immediate accidental deaths. Safe-Death Transition: A scene management implementation utilizing call_deferred to prevent engine crashes during the transition from the arena back to the start screen Going to make a link for you guys to try at my next update!
