Our team, consisting of Joshua David, Alan Thomas, Shourya Pallachulla, and Iyan Shivshankar, has been designing an RC Intelligent Arm Rover since early June 2026. Our goal is to build a remote-controlled rover with a robotic arm that can pick up and move objects. This project combines our interests in robotics, electronics, programming, and engineering. So far, we’ve worked on 3D CAD models, electrical component selection, circuit planning, and ESP32 firmware development. We’ve also researched solutions to various engineering challenges and worked together to improve our designs. Although we haven’t physically assembled the rover yet, we’ve made significant progress in the design phase. We didn’t formally track our hours when we started, but our design files, code, and development history help document our work. Our next step is to obtain the necessary components, assemble the rover, and test its functionality.
