FW 190 - RC Airplane
I built an RC-Airplane with the looks of the german WW2 fighter FW 190.
To be honest, this project is not 100% finished - the elevator flaps mechanism is not working, because the potentiometer used is too rigid and because of that the gears won’t turn.
Apart from that, there are some minor problems that come with unpolished projects.
But now to the functions of this airplane:
-Retractable gear
-Seperatly controllable aileroins
-Airbrake function utilising the aileroins
-Elevator flaps -> (not finished)
How the plane works:
-An ESP32 S3 CAM hosts a controller, reads its data and then sends the wanted controllerdata to another ESP32 S3 CAM per radio.
-The receiving ESP32 sits on a pcb on an electronics tray inside the plane, it processes the incoming radio signals and outputs them to the wanted servo in the plane.
-The electronics tray on which the pcb is mounted is fully removable and holds the battery and ESC-controller.
-The tray is tucked onto the nose of the plane, where the motor sits.
-The nose is screwed onto the middle-hull-part.
