2D Roguelite card-thrower

My first serious gamedev project, a 2D top-down roguelite dungeon crawler where you throw cards which each have different effects. Currently, there is only one card type and one enemy type. However, I've made basic systems, such as a deck, minimap, and fully randomized custom room generation. I made a roguelite because I play a lot of them and I think they're really cool, like TBOI and Tiny Rogues. Sometimes I lose motivation to do things like music and art, but hopefully this will motivate me into finishing the project.

I made a cool thing.
I started a 2D top down roguelite dungeon crawler style game, where you collect and throw cards with different effects. In this devlog, I updated the card selection system. In the past, it was randomized up to the point where you could see the next 3 cards you were going to get, but that felt too random and unfair, so I changed it to be more like selecting spells in a wizard game, where you will have 4 total card slots and a certain amount of each card. As you can see, the art is still a…work in progress. Can’t wait to work on this more in the future though.
