The main thing I added was a quote at the top of the main page (in a new font) that changes every time you reload the page. I also consolidated the links into a expandable dropdown and did a little house-cleaning.
Some of the challenges:
One of the quotes is in spanish, and initially the spanish characters (í, á, ñ, etc) weren’t displaying properly, so I had to fix that. It was more of a research-heavy task than a code heavy one, since the solution was one line.
I also had to apply some of the things I recently learned in AP CompSci; special string characters (\n, ") to make the quotes display properly, as well as JavaScript functions to change the quote on reload.
Nice to see that some of what I’m learning is applicable and making me a better coder for what I’m actually interested in.
Overall, this is a pretty short update, but I wanted to get one last thing out there before the end of stardance, and my personal website needed an update.

Added a quote to top of main page that changes when you reload the page!
(And did a little house cleaning - I just applied for a coding scholarship, and I submitted this site as part of my portfolio, so I needed to clean it up a little so it was presentable).
I used the html blockquote tag, set an id, and used javascript to change it on page reload.
There were some bumps in the road, namely I had to remember how to get special characters in strings (\n, ", etc), figure out how to get Spanish to display correctly, and apply what I’ve been learning in AP compsci to make a function to change the quote, but overall, I’m happy with how it ended up!
