Custom 3D-printed adjustable bench power supply powered by an ASUS adapter and XL4015 DC-DC converter, featuring a DSN-VC28 dual meter and an independent 18650 battery-driven cooling system.

Ship #1 Pending review

I built a custom smart bench power supply powered by an ASUS adapter and an XL4015 DC-DC step-down converter, featuring a DSN-VC28 dual meter and an independent 18650-powered cooling system inside a custom 3D-printed enclosure. The trickiest part was routing all the wiring cleanly within the compact case while managing proper thermal airflow. I’m super proud of how the custom dual-meter integration and the 3D-printed housing turned out—it looks and works like a professional bench tool. For anyone testing or reviewing it, make sure to check out the GitHub README for the full wiring schematics and the YouTube demo showcasing it in action!

Hey everyone! Today I finally wrapped up my smart bench power supply project. I spent time double-checking all the wiring for the XL4015 buck converter and DSN-VC28 meter inside my custom 3D-printed case, and tested the independent 18650 cooling system to make sure thermal management is rock solid. Also finished up the GitHub README documentation. It feels amazing to see everything come together, and I’m super excited to ship it out!
