HOLIWISSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!, today I finished version 2.7.2, and I also happened to come across the very first version of RIZO. It’s crazy to see how much I’ve learned in just five months since I first installed Fusion 360. It really was a wild ride—looking back at my early projects, the very first thing I did after installing the software was build a Formula SAE chassis. I tend to be a bit over-ambitious and jump straight into the hardest tasks, but now, with just five months of experience, I’m able to build a robot.

HOLIWISSS FRIENDSSS! Today I put a lot of work into the new body for RIZO (version 2.7). I significantly improved its durability, made the robot much lighter, and made it easier to handle. I took the time to custom-fit everything so that components like the motors, BTS7960 drivers, and 18650 batteries fit perfectly. Just a few small details remain before moving on to version 2.8—and the near-final version 2.9. We’re getting very close to 2.9, so stay tuned! Thanks for the support; to all my followers, you truly inspire me to make this project a reality. Thanks for everything—I hope you like the final result.

RIZO V2.7 is finally here—from every angle.

HOLIWISS FRIENDS!! My star project has finally reached version 2.7, friends, and it’s truly impressive. Aesthetically, it looks a bit simple, so I’m going to add some style without sacrificing functionality—which is one of the hardest parts of my job. As you know, RIZO is an ambitious project that is gradually taking shape; it has changed a lot across the various versions. I’ve prioritized a compact size and low weight, and this version won’t fall short in that regard, with some further weight reductions still in the works. That’s all for now; I’ll keep working on RIZO so you can see further progress.

こんにちは、みんな (hello everyone)! Today I’m sharing an upgrade for RIZO. We’re currently on version 2.6.2, and to optimize the weight, I wanted to blend an open, adaptable design style with a touch of generative design—getting the best of both worlds. This is the preliminary design to house the Raspberry Pi 3B+, camera, servos, and ESP32-S3, as well as a screen where RIZO can display its beautiful little face. Thanks to everyone for your unwavering support and for making RIZO a REAL project.

LET’S KEEP WORKING ON RIZO!!!!!!!!

Guys, this post originally said I was moving the project to a different platform, but since Stardance is staying up for a few more days, I’ll continue posting RIZO here. Thanks for everything, guys—love you all.❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

HOLIWWWISSS everyone, we’re back with daily updates. This time, as is customary for the project, I decided to redesign the robot to make it easier to print. I hope you like it; this is version 2.6.1.

HOliWisSs, it’s been a while since I posted any updates. I was tired, but I’m back now. You’re looking at OpenCV and how the robot’s camera detects objects.

HOLIWISSS! Today I worked on the mount for my laptop motherboard, which will serve as the new brain for my robot. In case anyone is wondering which laptop it is: it’s a 2019 HP Pavilion with a Ryzen 5 processor, 12GB of RAM, and Vega 8 graphics. I’d love to hear any recommendations on how to keep the motherboard stable, as I’m not quite sure how to power it within my UGV.

Hi everyone, how are you doing? To be honest, I’m getting a bit tired of posting updates. I’ll try to post one today, but uploading 3D modeling content every day is becoming mentally draining. I hope I can keep up the pace and not let you down. If I don’t post a major update tomorrow, I hope you can still appreciate the hard work involved. Anyway, I hope you like my project; follow me for future updates, as I’ll be sharing news about the robot soon.

HOLIWISS GUYSS !!!!!!! RIZO V2.5.3 — Development Update 🚀

I think this has officially become a habit. Today, I’m introducing RIZO V2.5.3.

For this iteration, I redesigned the body and separated it into two main sections, aiming to improve the robot’s overall stability and flexibility.

Since RIZO doesn’t use a conventional suspension system, I’m using generative design to shape the chassis around the way the robot actually interacts with the terrain. It’s still a work in progress, but the structure is slowly starting to take shape.

What’s new:

  • 🛠️ Two-part body design for improved stability
  • 🧩 Generative-designed chassis
  • 📐 Ongoing structural optimization
  • 📡 Sensor mounting points coming next
  • 🔌 Dedicated ESP32-S3 mount to be added
  • 📷 Pan-and-tilt mount for the Raspberry Pi Camera Module 3 in development

There’s still a lot to refine, but each iteration is getting RIZO a little closer to the final design.

RIZO V2.5.3—still building, still iterating.

HOLIWISSSSSSSS everyone! It took me a while to bring you new updates, but here I am. Today, I created so many versions of the Rizo body using generative design to find the best one, and this is how it turned out: it weighs just 466 grams and can support loads of up to 6 kilograms—or even a bit more. Please let me know if you have any questions, and if you like the project, feel free to leave a comment or hit the like button. That’s all for now—good luck with your own projects!❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

HOLIWISS ,I’m back again with an update. I’ve installed some of the hardware: a Raspberry Pi 3B+ and its camera module, along with servos for movement and some yellow TT motors BYEEEE.

DEVLOG 2:
Hi everyone! For those following the progress on my little robot: I’ve made it lighter. I wanted to show you my work and hopefully get some advice. In my previous post, people mentioned I should change the proportions, but the robot has size limitations, so I’m working within a somewhat small frame.

DEVLOG 1: Any opinions on the model?

I’d like some feedback on the model: I am building the chassis for a robot designed to help address the global problem of pests destroying crops worldwide. The robot aims to tackle this issue by monitoring crops to detect signs of infestation and alerting the farmer.
