A Controlled prosthetic hand

$400 X Tier

Waiting on a reviewer. We'll let you know as soon as there's a decision.

$400 X Tier

Hi hi!

There are some things that need to be improved!
- Make sure that you have all the files in the project! Refer to this guide to make sure you have all the items for your prosthetic arm: https://stardance.hackclub.com/resources/shipping-hardware

- You are missing the lapse(s) for your firmware! I see that you have not included the lapse that is going to be for the firmware of your project.. Please include that.

- Make sure that you have a proper BOM.. I see that you have added a BOM.csv, but that seems to not work.. I would highly recommend using software, such as Google Sheets to make a BOM and then exporting the google sheet file as a CSV to get a properly formatted BOM.

Once these changes are made, we will take another look, and if everything is good, we will approve! :D

Have a nice day!

Im making a fully controlled prostetic hand, cause the data (youtube videos and like 30min of “actual” research) shows that most people that suffered upper limb loss are only missing one arm. This means that we dont have to think about a very complicated solution to controlling prostecits, we can just use the other hand. But relax, im not discouraging innovation, this project is mainly to kill the heavy costs of prostetics. Alrighty, lets get started .So this is way harder than i thought, the part i thought would be the easiest (the 3d modeling) was absolutely brutal. The electronics were way easier to deal with, since its going to be controlled by buttons on a glove. I wanted to make this completely wireless, but looking through the requirements of this project, i thought that to be unecesary, atleast for now. Now im working on the gittering of the servos, oh btw we are only using 5 and we are going to use string, this is not a new idea (you can still call me a genius tho). Instead of using string on both sides, i will just use springs on the other sides so when the servos stop turning, it will snap back. Now im kinda just waiting for my funding.😝😝
