Automatic bike brake light and turn signals
after that i routed the whole board and connected all the components. i chose to place the esp32, the mpu6050 header, and the battery connector flipped on the back layer to leave plenty of space on the front for all 10 leds, added some icons on the silkscreen, and finished with 0 drc errors
from here i finished working on the schematic and assigned all the right footprints for every single component. after that i opened up the pcb editor, took some quick measurements to set up the board outline, and added a gnd copper pour across the bottom layer so all the ground connections would link up automatically. then i started placing the components, starting with the esp32 on the back side to keep the front layer clean for all the leds
made the schematic for my project. i chose the xiao esp32 s3 because it’s small and good for this project, then wired all the leds (10 in total: 3 for the left indicator, 4 for the main brake lights, and another 3 for the right indicator). unfortunatly due to the lack of enough pins i decided to connect brake light 3 and 4 to one pin. i chose to connect almost all the leds to an individual pin because in the firmware the esp32 hosts a website where you can control each individual led and customize it as you want with other cool features. then i put a 2 pin connector wich will be used to connect the battery to power the project, and lastly an 8 pin connector wich will be used for the mpu 6050
