hi there! this is really great first start and kudos to you for getting this far.

your PCB is going to need a lot of work! certain parts like the USB-C connector can't actually connect together.

I would recommend starting with a hackpad so you have a better idea of how PCBs work.

ask in #stardance-hardware for help! I'm sure plenty of people would be willing to help you.

Hello!

Few things:
- We do NOT approve funding the tools that you are going to use to make the project (In this case, you are talking about the hot air, the solder paste, the pinecil, and the usb c wire). You are going to get rid of those

- You are going to need a lot more parts than what you have right now - For example, teh propellor blades and the FC

- You are missing the firmware for the drone! Please submit that

- You are missing the .kicad_pcb file! Please add that

Once you finish this, we will take another look, and if everything is good, we will approve! :D

Heyo! I love your project! However, you need to make a CADed assembly of the drone with the frame, PCB, motors, etc. That is to let us see what you drone will look like and to help you assemble it when you do get the parts. Add those images to your BOM, along with a picture of the PCB's design (not just the schematic). Keep up the good work!

Hiya, very cool project, we don't see many drones in Stardance!

Please don't use AI in your README though, it's the first impression people get of your project, so make it count and write the README yourself! Please follow the comprehensive guide we have about this: https://stardance.hackclub.com/resources/great_readme

Additionally, fix the formatting of your BOM, I think you're missing a comma somewhere, so it can't be rendered properly.

Please also upload the STEP file(s) of your CAD into your Cad folder.

Thanks!

Devlog 4 or 5 | So i searched and find out how to order a pcb . FIrst i though of getting my pcb from pcbway but it was way to expensive like 30 $ 5 pieces cause of the fees , so i switched to jclpcb and i think it’s less expensive atleast the site shows that it only costs 4 $ but i think it’s without the delivery fees but it’s still less expensive from pcbway as in pcbway the chips costed 5$ without the fees . I also change my pcb a little so it can be done. I am also thinking of soldering manually the pcb and i would like to know what i need in order to do so . I asked claude and it said that a soldering station and hot air with solder is enough .

devlog 4 | I made the pcb , but i couldn’t connect 3 pins so i decided to connected them with wires , as this first pcb will serve as the prototype and if it works i will try making adjustements so the board doesn’t need those wires . If you have any suggestions on how to wire this pcb better please comment , here is the present look of the pcb

Devlog 3 | I searched the internet to find a diffrent way of making a drone and i found that you can make your pcb so i started building one with the help of ai . First i made a pcb but realised it wouldn’t work as it needs a esc that costs more than my budget can handle as i trying to cut cost to nearly being only 25$. Anyway i had to restart the pcb design and i stopped after making the schematic. I would really love if there was a way of making the pcb wiring proccess faster as i find it annoying. That’s all for today . See you tommorow with new updates

Returning this because your repo is nearly empty. You need to include some screenshots and the wiring in your README, as well as use .step instead of .f3z for your assembly file. You also need a BOM in a different format, preferably .csv. Beyond that, in it's current state we can't accept this as an A-tier project, the current quality of the project doesn't match the cost of the components you're using. I encourage you to read this guide https://codex.hackclub.com/other/polish-matching. Thanks!
