The I2S is a music sequencer that ranges 8 octaves (C2-C9), has up to 32 steps, MIDI + keyboard input, full ASDR controls, custom sound uploading, and a dual mode. It is available on Mac + Windows.
I love making music and music gear so I thought it would be fun to code a music-related program! I’ve made one other similar music program known as the K1 Monophonic Sampler.
This project took a shorter amount of time than I expected. It makes sense though, as it isn’t my first coding project. I still struggled with motivation though, especially after losing my sticky streak. Also fitting in time to work on this and school at the same time was hard. I was still able to manage and now ship this!!!

Another beta release!!
Added full ADSR
Had a lot of the framework and math for ASDR done already from my other project, K1 Monophonic Sampler.
I also added a shorter pause before starting.
2 more additions to the software before it is complete!!! (Maybe 3)

Released my first demo of my music sequencer!

I did some work tonight, and added some more code systems to my sequencer project!
I added MIDI connection and a way to assign notes to sequence steps.
My hope for my next devlog is to add keyboard input or add visual elements because it is still impossible to use the program </3
Also I said in the last devlog that I might be inactive for a bit, but it turns out I forgot I actually have a few more days until that happens!! I can probably make 2 or 3 more devlogs until then.

This is my music sequencer project!
I’ve made base code and buttons to add onto later with different systems.
I have to go on vacation so the next devlog might be a while later </3 (Or I could squeeze one more in)
