Forgot about this and then just randomly remembered today so I’m gonna lock in and finish it. I just got done with the homepage. Tomorrow, I’ll see if I can add the apple music API to show what I’m currently listening to and also add some interactivity to the website.
Got movable windows working and can now open the apps from an icon + a bunch of random stuff i cba to type
Making a media library themed web OS to take a break from my main project (personal website)
Finally finished the Figma prototype of the home page, spent like 6~7 ish hours undocumented on procreate and affinity 😭😭. took some inspiration from @supercoolcodinggirl’s name font. Tomorrow I will take a break from this project and complete the webOS project so I don’t get burnt out.
Progress so far: Designed the mock-up of the home screen (the spiderman
background is temporary). Next I need to do some designs on affinity and
procreate to make the home screen more inviting and personalised.
I’m building a personal portfolio website in the style of a magazine
cover. To begin, I created a mood board on Pinterest of ideas I can use
for inspiration, next I think I’ll create a design brief (colour scheme
and a font scheme and any other assets I think the website will
include), finally I will create a mock up on Figma before getting
started on the actual website code.
