Hiragana "escape room"

  • 3 Devlogs

This is a very simple console game using the C# console, it is mainly made for those who cannot read hiragana since you can skip all puzzles by just reading the hiragana. This was an idea I got during my last programming lesson of the semester, this project was not started until June 6th (the day I'm writing this) so all code has been written during this event.

I have made room 2 for my “escape room” project.
.
I have added the combination hiragana which will be used in room 3. This also completes (almost) all hiragana, with the exception of ん and っ which I might add. I will also add a statement about exceptions such as し、ち、つ.
.
Below is the current table of the hiragana

The search function has been implemented (in a very rough way), the code itself has been made to look nicer and I have made it a lot easier to add more rooms whenever I want to.

Dakuten has also been added to the hiragana table.

I’m not great at coding nor at writing and coming up with “lore” so if you look at the code and try it out and think that I should add or change something then please let me know.

I have begun working on my simple C# console game.

I have made a (mostly) working menu and you can escape from the first room but the search for finding pieces of the hirgana table is not implemented yet
