Paper Chess - ver 1.0
So i was board with the design of the basic chessboard in chess games , so i decided to make one of my own chess games from the ground up.
So i went for the paper-ish theme for this chess game and added 1 thme currently there are 2 themes for the time being , there are sound effects in each theme and i think you guys will like it .
Anyways i am also happy to listen to your opinions too , please feel free to check out my project.

#FINAL DEVLOG🫡
PaperChess V1.0 is finally done 🎉, i had a great time building this and also got to learn new things along the way.
After this devlog i will be shipping it so please feel free to try it out.
What changes were brought since the last log -
Polished the UI
Added a new theme ‘Brainrot’ 🙏🏻
fixed some concerning bugs (had a hard time here)
added new sounds for the game and replaced the ones from last time with better ones.
and a ton of stuff i don’t remember

#DEVLOG 6
Added Soo many stuff today , first i forgot about the (white or black ) side switch feature so i added that , then refined the bot difficulty.
Fixed some minor bugs and now i am moving towards making another theme that can be added here. Also added game sounds effects idk if the recording got that 💀 , but yea and also a title screen audio track.
Added the drag and drop feature ( i did not show it in the video )
the theme dropdown menu is still being worked on 🤠….
24 hr before stardance ends , i am gonna ship this 🧚🏻♀️

Made some major changes , repositioned the buttons , added a chess bot with difficulty levels and a starter page . Now i will move toward the themes ..
will work toward that cursor bug in the settings menu

Made some changes this time and i have fixed the ‘Paper Chess’ Heading , added custom cursors and polished the chessboard a little bit . i will be adding more features again. ( before stardance ends ofc) 🤠

Added the paper themed chess pieces to the board and also polished the board styling a little
so far everything looks good , i will be adding more stuff later
yes ik the “Paper Chess” Title kinda is unreadable i will fix it i keep forgetting about it

ok i made sure the pieces actually move and now the game also has a move history (idk why i have 16m logged 🦍 worked an hour on this )
