FINAL DEVLOG
I have completed the whole site, despite having to cut features due to deadlines its still pretty cool!
Here are some of the features of this site:
-a welcoming html file, just like the original hackernews
-A page with the top starred (best) projects ever in hackclub
-A page with over 10000 ships, all in a random order, with a loadmore button.
Many more tiny features I didn’t mention.

Ah I’ve finally made it sorta look like the actual hackernews (news.ycombinator.com) !!
Notes:
-I feel like it took me forever to design the layout, but I inspected the hackernews website to investigate the methods they used.
-I didn’t copy&paste any code, and my code doesn’t look like hackernews in any way.
-The fonts don’t look really like they should yet, I will get that done tmrw though.
-Sorry but this post is a bit rushed.
-Not much to say here but trust me this was WAY harder than it looks

I’m working on a remix of hacker news but for hackclub.
As of now I have:
-Completed the main design,
-Set up the api calls from ships.hackclub.com
-Made an overly complicated “load more” button (this took me like 45 mins - but it works perfectly)
Notes:
-The actual api calls design isnt done yet, there will soon be a link to github and it will genuinely look much better.
-Ignore that this is the worst time POSSIBLE to start a project’.
-Updates every 5 minutes.
