This is a very specific project! This allows for vintage MacOS and PowerPC operating systems to run on newer intel hardware directly (meaning its something you can boot to directly instead of just having an application on your computer.)

The PowerPC Vintage OS Emulator Distro is complete! When users build from the HDD, they are met with this simple install window to aid them in their installation! Now, working on emulation via QEMU!

Lots and lots of debugging! I am trying to get Debian to run smoothly on actual Intel Mac hardware. It’s been a challenge for sure, lots and lots of debugging! (9 disk image revisions so far 😔). Also, i’ve learned that it may be able to run on Apple Silicon, which I think would be pretty cool, but I don’t have an Apple silicon computer unfortunately :/

I just started my vintage PowerPC Emulator project! it is based off of Debian 12. I used github’s copilot in order to layout the basic debian distro and nececarry dependencies. There are many errors/mistakes that I am slowly but surely working out!
