So this is an RC Plane I am building(modelling actually), this is my first time 3d printing a plane entirely, but good thing I have flown 8 homemade coroplast rc planes before so yeah, I am looking forward to seeing how it would turn out!
Umm, so I spent the day, trying to put the wing through a wind tunnel(cfd sim), cause I was a bit doubtful, if the wing was even gonna produce any lift, as the mean chord of the wing is just 10 cm. But then I ran into this prob, I dunno want to do, if you guys know what this below error is all about, please tell me, for now Im stuck with this.
I didn’t do much today, except figure out how to make the slots for the hinges for both the ailerons as well as the elevator. I also smoothened to body so that the resistance in the air reduces.
I finished all the clasping joints, and also the other two pictures besides the colorful one down below, are the ailerons and the elevators. You prolly couldn’t tell, and that’s not your fault, so I am gonna try to fix it tomorrow. I also optimized the parts that are gonna get printed separately. The v-stab and the h-stab was also made today. That’s about it for today I guess. You may now go to sleep.
Firstly, I am soo glad that StarDance got extended by another month, cause my exams are over!! I started a new project, cause I am still waiting for the gods to review my project from the last month. Anyway, I started off with the fuselage, and the wing for my RC plane!! I am model it in such a way, that all the parts simply slip in and hold tightly with a tiny bit of glue. So yeah, that’s it for today. I did start off strong if you ask me.
