UI 🎨 [Devlog 3]

After some work, I finished the CSS side of things for the playlists… So now, you can see your playlist and it’s information better.

Other Additions

• You can now somewhat toggle between the edit mode and view mode of a playlist. Well, it is kind of a one-way thing. So if you start editing, you can not save yet.
• Added a function for synchronizing changes to Firebase . Not used rn.
• Added the input elements and buttons to allow changing values of a playlist. Right now, they are only toggle-able.

Got the Back end! [Devlog 2]

Last devlog, I worked on the main UI, and added very cool effects.

This devlog, I got other stuff!!

• OK.. maybe just a bit more cool UI
• The Firebase side of stuff is pretty complete! Now, you can make a playlist inside the create page, and when made, it will redirect you to a URL(/p/id) which will be your playlist! I had to look through many ways i could implement security. However, I stayed with a basic sha256 hashing system. Because there are no accounts on the app, there really is no other alternative. And sha256 is very easy.
• Made layout for create page and playlist page.

ShareList [Devlog 1]

Youtube has a playlist system… for Youtube only videos. Spotify has a playlist system… for Spotify only audio. Why not a web app that allows you to make a playlist of both worlds? With ShareList, you will be able to make a playlist that can have content stretching from videos to music to websites, with the additional benefit of being able to share them!

Starting off…

Today, I worked on the main structure of the project, and did a whole lot of styling. I think it worked out pretty cool.
I did things like:

• Box-shadows for the bar atop the page, which interacts with the mouse and is actually split in two!
• A glow ⭐ on the mouse, which is pretty cool and awesome looking.
• Night/Light mode.
• 404 Page(my first time)

There is way more, but I will not list em’.

Things I am/will work on…

• It is time for the back-end now… yay… 🙄
• Need to make the about and playlist pages themselves.
• The form-like interface to make/edit a playlist.

Conclusion

So I think I overdid myself today, which is pretty tuff . I am really hoping to finish this so people can use it ASAP!!
