OrbitOS Settings & PersonalizationWhat’s New?I worked on the OrbitOS Settings experience and continued improving the overall look of the WebOS interface.Settings gives users a central place to control and personalize their OrbitOS experience instead of having system options spread across different applications.I also started adding more color throughout the interface while keeping the OrbitOS design consistent. I focused on areas such as windows, menus, buttons, taskbar elements, system controls, and selected states. What Was Challenging? The biggest challenge was adding more personality and color without making the interface feel messy.I wanted OrbitOS to have its own visual identity while still keeping the interface easy to read and navigate.I also had to make sure the changes worked across the different applications instead of only changing one screen. What I LearnedI learned that a consistent theme system is important when building an operating-system-style interface. Small changes to colors, buttons, windows, and menus can affect the entire user experience.Current StatusThe WebOS version is the main playable version and is being prepared for public testing. The downloadable computer software is still unfinished and under development. I am continuing to build the desktop version separately from the WebOS account system.
