Manual documentation maintenance and broken link are dead. I just implement a pre-commit hook mechanism so the documentation automatically stays up to date with your actual repository code and artifacts when a commit is made, avoiding broken connection bypass into the pristine commit history and GitHub repository
Here is how the new setup works:
Automatic Setup with One Command
If you have the traceability-engine npm package installed globally, running traceability-system-init inside your worktree or main branch handles the entire setup. The script automatically inserts the Synapse engine straight into your pre-commit hooks, ensuring it runs every single time before a commit completes.
Invisible Self-Healing on Every Commit
Once initialized, the pre-commit hook runs quietly in the background whenever you make a commit. It performs three key actions:
Runs the Synapse automatic connection update.
Surgically identifies only the specific files whose content was changed.
Automatically stages those self-healed, updated files so your commits always include accurate, up-to-date documentation.
