A game full of short minigames! (Make a WarioWare-Style Game Mission)
A game full of short minigames! (Make a WarioWare-Style Game Mission)
I finished the minigame 1 and the minigame 2, added a textbox and I’ll start making the minigame 3.
I added the “garlics” and the timer is “working”. It doesn’t appear on the screen yet, but I’ll try to add it later. I added some things to the Settings, but I’ll put more effort on it later because I want to finish the minigames first (and add a “storytime”, maybe)
I don’t know why she doesn’t touch the ground, but I’m glad I added the animation for her movements. Also, I have the tittle screen (it was ready some time ago, but I forgot to show it) and the background. Next, I’ll work on the minigames and (maybe) put a “storytime” somewhere (which would lead me to create more characters). My level_scene isn’t working the way it should, but I’ll deal with it later
It’s been some hours, but I spent half of then in a mistake with the script. When I clicked the “Start” button, nothing happened. After some tutorials, I discovered that I put the wrong script in the wrong scene and the code of one of the tutorials I watched wasn’t working anymore because it was from another version of godot. Anyways, I managed to solve that part aaaand I drew my first character and background for the game (pixel art). I didn’t record the process because it was my first time using the app, so I was more focused on how to use the tools. Sadly, I’m not at home right now, so I can’t show the latest version of the character, but I have a really close version that I can show :D. English isn’t my first language, so, sorry for any mistake.
I was following the guide to do that, so I finished the 1-9 part and I’m in the middle of the step 10. I think I’ll call the game “A Hundred and Ten Percent” because I’m a hundred and ten percent sure that I’ll finish this project (hahah)
