Helloooo Today I did some cleanup, fixed a critical potential bug (I was holding separate settings state object instances for every page) and imlpemented a two-way slider for trimming included in the community toolkit. :))

Hello . Yesterday I found this “WinUI 3 Gallery” which is a reeeeally nice app demonstrating all the XAML app components available and also FontIcons. Really useful! I also learned how to change the app theme and made settings for nav bar position (cause its really easy to change) and theme (dark/light/system). See ya

Today I worked on linking more flags to yt-dlp Now you can also install the required and/or optional tools through winget commands in settings and those include newly enabled aria2 - a module that makes downloads split into smaller parts and allows up to 16 pararell connections. Next comes the trimming and passing cookies through yt-dlp. See ya

A little story for you today: Im coming back from a lil break from hc (been on horizons europa, earlier on sd a little but never finished my project because of… well a big diff?, and ft) and making a smaller project - a gui wrapper for yt-dlp (for downloading youtube (and not only) videos/audio) and ffmpeg (selected features cuz it would be a ton of ifs). Written in C#, .NET and WinUI framework - my first native Windows app. Why not Linux and corss-platform? Well, sorry. I just tried C# and made a powertoys extension and liked it… and… Im doing it mostly for myself and even if not only for myself, the majority of well, generally everone uses windows, so… yeah…
Anyways, here is a look at a first draft of the UI:
