for now i added placeholder images but will add actual real objects images.

1. made small interaction functionalities in setting(lots of time went in solving mini mistake that are just at front but not seemed)

2. made a wikipedia app successfully
   – go read articles about tva, apocalypses in history and hunters

3. made a general setting that toggle clock widget to display and hide.
   – it also remembers that last time u hided it or displayed

i was not able make these widgets without youtube tutorials.

So absolute these widgets needs improvments in styling.

Built some components and also made changes that looks very little but gives very much impression

added visitor counter widget Firstly, Because some days before i commented about my project on someone reel on instagram and also added project link in bio, and guess what! people visited my project.

added or fixed mini functionalities such as navbar, app maximize.

1. made visitor Counter with app script and spreadsheet
   – before this, i also worked on IoT projects in college and worked with app script and spreadsheet
   – so i thought why not apply exactly that here
   – i also took suggestions and idea from ai’s chatbots but its ai and ai always give perfection in each work and i was not intented to go with any backend like node.js or supabase, etc.
2. fixed nav and app as apps are going under the navbar
3. adjustments in maximize and alignments
4. changed simple single key press close and maximize to work with Alt key

Debugged, found and solved bugs

Debug and solved bugs such as functions that are called without need or at wrong time.

also added key press for closing and maximizing apps

Added Key Press Functionality on Timer

How u can interact:

1. Press “T” or “t” to start and stop Timer
2. Press “S” or “s” to select Timer time

so i added a on key press functionality on musicApp.

Functionalities added:

1. now user can play music when space bar is clicked
2. made navigation bar static so app does not go underneath of it.

finally made fully functional gallery app successfully

For now i have limited numbers of images, so i placed them as placeholders, will add much more later.

Now my next goal is to make a special widgets for my purpose in this site : Site Visit Counter

and yeah will also make other widgets

Working on Gallery app despite some personal challenges

I facing some logical problems, but what i tried to execute is :

I made a Gallery that features two tabs:

1. Recent, where all images are dispayed
2. Albums, Where images are classified and displayed in categories

will be feature images categories in next devlog

made a fully functional library/file manager app.

I got sick while making this app!

i just thinking that the logic or code was that tough to make me sick or just was my deep thinking that made me sick

⚠️the app works like when you click any document icon it let you see that document in very interactive and wonderful way.

for now i placed placeholder images and will add real once when all my creative ideas are executed

Finally made music player

Features

• play & pause buttons
• forward & backward buttons
• a music player cd rounds when playing
• can play whatever song want to and whenever
• just select song from selection or go forward or backward

if creativity gives me more time then

• then ill add volume buttons

yeah i’ll polish the design and will make it look exactly as it has to

made and executed main essential music player functionality!

and yeah also found how to write these emojies

Whats done:

• Music plays when selected
• play - pause working but there is something unusual is happening idk why

other visuals r just visuals and just structure, i have to make it work.

also see codes snippets, i written all code and logic myself and yeah all the logic i learn from youtube tutorials, chatgpt and w3school.

Devlogging after some long days, because i went on college trip

As Readers will know i was working on music player, i just decided what logic & code flow i have to apply.
I watched some tutorials, asked chatgpt for different suggestions and how to execute, but none of them was seems to work for me and my idea.

so i now i’m going to apply the logic what my mind created and let me go for it for a test.

My laptop crashed - devlog with combinig 2 days work

My laptop crashed and i don’t know why but it was just heating up without much load. when i start the laptop the gpu fan just abnormally very fast and then it just increaisingly heats. so my whole yesterday was went into this, and now it just at service center and i don’t know when i get it to continue on it.

So it was a situation made by fate but i’m not the guy who just stop at that problem

So this is devlog for 2 days combined work done

1. A fully working terminal app with just couple of personalized commands
2. Currently working on Music Player

• So not whole terminal app but some complex syntax and minimal logic was done by watching youtube tutorials and chatgpt at conclusion and to ensure if i learnt right thing.
• also as i said not whole app just learning logic of how to make my own music player
• btw just learnt how to apply logic and how to serve different solutions to different ideas

Here’s my OS timer

just made it, proud of myself that it was made and executed very well and working as expected.

• still lots of creativity remaining to apply
• still lots of concepts are not explored
• and yeah lot of visual elements are not made & remaining not shown.

I’m now just making things real using figma, canva, etc. and then will be add to project in future

just made a countdown or timer whatever everyone say.

it steal lacks connection between the countdown options and button.

I don’t know why its not fetching and displaying custom timer input box, so i pushed code to github and if there anyone who suggest what wrong thing i’m doing.

consider that all other duplicate html, css and js files are created for practicing and setup of basic components and styling and learning how to execute certain wokloads efficiently.

and yeah if u have any suggestions, please kindly reach to me and asks for features and recommendations.

This is very important for me and my projects in Stardance.

Here i came to tell about how i made functionalities and projects.

1. First of all, when i started in stardance i didn’t have a laptop, in fact during my diploma study till 3 years - i can’t bought one.
2. but at this time when i shipped webos1 project, I bought a second hand laptop(after 2.5 year in diploma).
3. Before that i was coding in my friend’s laptop.
4. And during my college hours, when i got some free time i start coding in my Android Device via Acode Editor.
5. So the laptop or windows is maximumly used for entire project creation but i also used android for micro-mini functionalities and adjustments

So i’m very thankfull and pleasure to have things like:

1. !Github - who secure my code and give me acceess on the go.
2. !Acode - which allows me to code in every language i learnt, use terminal and yeah importantly the preview feature.

I litteraly used bluetooth mouse in android and audited all the visual designs and code in Android and acode preview.

I m now very proud of my self that i can take very good design decisions.
and even more proud of on designs.

if u see design something off or irrelevent, please suggest me to improve because this is my first time design interfaces and even interfaces that are unique and visually creative.

please please please react on this because i dont know if i’m going in right direction or not!!

Hurray!

The selected Background image is now being saved and loaded on website. Meaning in simple term is like i just cooked and added personalization.

And Yeah, it is ready for personal use

I also made the navbar some smaller for to look ui good and also made the windows to be relative in position when maximized, So the navbar content doesn’t hide when maximized

What i achieved:

The First of all The Preview Setting works.
The Second Achievment, The Wallpaper are loaded as background when selected.

What Still need:

Is just a background setting like making it fit in background and not repeat.

And in the final I would say that the UI is still not accurate as what i wanted and it embrassing me.

So just one request i want is a honest feedback on UI and design.

What i achieved:

1. Just added a maximize functionality in my apps.

• also added a micro interaction like when you try to drag a maximized window, the window minimize just a little.
• when u again click the maximize button after dragging from max, it changes it to real height and width.

What are difficulties:

while trying to apply different sizes for different events and interactions, it was very difficult make a window to at it actual coordinates.

i was trying to make a setting app and a wallpaer setting that previews and set the wallpaper of the OS, but the the logic was very confusing and i’m now just finding the way just how to make it works with my own logic(even it was broken, just have to be work)

BTW, The maximize functionality is not my first priority when i started this session, it was the setting app

Tested , played and made some minor Ui and css style changes such as ** Windowxs header, buttpns and navigatipn bar **, whuch must be new well maintained and

Done well, polished for production. Just sorry for not adding a screen shot here. Very tired.

Made the design very good and added visuals that make you excited.What i’m feeling after completing this:

added dynamic content loading in journal app, i don’t know what say. i’m very very exhausted of errors and bad login implementation. don’t even knowing what im writing.

i just have to say that its works and its works and the logic is right.

and yeah i also made it live.

phw solved the error that causing multiple icons activating at once. yeah there is way more details that i cant’t explain here, so read readme.

So this is my first devlog for My MischiefOS Project. just now i’ve finished part 4 of os guide and made two windows with all the primary capabilities it must have. for now i just made static visuals of my screen. not hard visuals, just executed pure code.
