Environmental guardian for chronic illness

I am making (actual name in progress): An AI-Powered Dietary and Environmental Guardian for Mast Cell Activation Syndrome (MCAS).

MCAS is a complex immunological condition where the body’s mast cells, a type of white blood cell, inappropriately release mediators like histamine, causing severe, unpredictable allergic reactions. Triggers are highly individualized and fluctuate based on diet, barometric pressure, temperature, and air quality. This device would be the first-of-its-kind, pocket-sized smart device designed to give MCAS patients their autonomy back. By combining computer vision for food identification, geolocation for restaurant menu analysis, and onboard environmental sensors, this device would provide real-time, personalized threat assessments directly to a pocket display, alleviating some of the mental load on patients.
