so id didnt want to design this one as usal this is the last devblog on my hackpad was realy fun and i waned to do more but i need to finish other projects so yea here is what i did

→ a readme
→ i changed the footprint for the screen again
→ i needed to some thinks on the lid

what is this project

what did i do in this devblog

before the this devblog you controled the character with visual buttons but now i did a bit of backend developing so you can controll the website without even being on the website and that the buttons controll the character and the wheel the settigns i also coded it so that the character gets displayed on the hackpad and the settings to so yea i worked like for 30 min more but i put one file in a restricted folder and then it didnt track time

i made my ascii character he talks when i talk he can change expressions automaticly or manual and he can turn is head so yeah dont know what to write else its just like a vtuber or png tuber character

what did i do in this devblog

i designed a lid for it so idk what i got to doo for the 3d model but its looking good so yea and i am geting faster with onshape so thats great without the buttons and wheels it loks weired but i think if the buttons are there it wont look like chease i cant change it to or i would have ot change the size of my pcb and then i coul do evrything again from the begining

what did i do in this devblog

so i started with 3d modeling first i waned to try to let it automaticly generate because i alredy got my pcb and it would be practical since if i changed thinks it could adapt but i was to stupid for that so i wasted like 1h and then i lerned onshape since i only 3d modeled in blender before and i think now i got the drill but i was very slow

what did i do in this devblog

i finished my pcb board
first i added the correct footprint for my oled display so i just used ssd1306 then i placed all the thinks so that they have a correct distance then i made the border of my PCB Bord then i created all the connections and did the gnd add zone thing and fixed all the drc errors still have 18 warnings but they are unimportant

have the feeling that i finish this whole hack pad in under a day

i cleaned everything up and added a Conn_01x04 so this is just the oled display still need to look for the corect footprint and i added a rotary_encoder_switch

and only as an info this is not suppose to be a special hack pad its only purpose is to help myself so maby its a bit basic and i struggle a lot because the red errors so this is why i needed so much time

just followed the toutorial so i now have a pcb boad and the schemetics was so 3 buttons and yea not much just like in the toutorial but i will add more stuff to it in the next devblog and sry if i need more time i am more of a software dude
