I am building educational kits for students in Nepal to help them understand confusing and hard concepts using electronics as I have some understanding of it.
Devlog 3
Finally, Sex-determination kit is working had to change entire thing from what we did last time to easier version and yeah it worked. I have added 2 modes. 1) Students can select between X and Y chromosomes and check if its boy or girl another is they generate boy or girl at random and learn the probability of having boy or girl is 50-50 almost. It is what was I able to come up with.
Now i will test it out in IRL after few days.
Devlog 2
I made schematics version 2 with the real components. Sadly it didn’t work. One of the transistor was heating rapidly and I haven’t yet figured out what caused it. Now will be changing the circuit to fix and I think will try on simulation first then move with hardware version.
Devlog 1
I deigned schematics for the sex-chromosome determination kit. I build 2 versions
Version 1 was simple: It just used switches and if it is pressed with 1 switch it makes boy led go on similarly with another switch another led goes on.
Version 2: I tried using input-selection logic and transistor latch. Idk if it will work or not in next devlog we will find it out.
