I’m building a browser extension to remove Shorts from your Youtube feed!

Hi! I made a browser extension that removes Shorts from you Youtube feed.
This was a pretty easy project, however I think there’s a real demand for this kind of tool.
I made this extension so I can’t be distracted and loose countless hours scrolling for nothing (instead of working on some stardance projects for example :D).
The hardest part of this project was understanding how the manifest works, and making it compatible for both chromium-based browsers and Firefox.

Devlog #4: I added the ability to directly remove the “Shorts” button on Youtube’s sidebar, so you no longer feel the urge to scroll instead of being productive!

Devlog #3: I updated the UI of the Youtube Shorts remover extension! I kept it simple so everyone can easily use it.
I might add another option to also hide the “Shorts” button on the sidebar.
