Building a USB hub :) Used EasyEDA for pcb and all that, onshape for the case. Did most of stuff before I realised lapse existed, so that’s like so many hours gone to waste (at least 6)

DESIGNING THE CASE
After I got the pcb ready and ordered, went on onshape to design the case. But quickly ran into a problem. The panda was an organic shape, so I didn’t know how to get the outlines! Tried using the “use” tool but unfortunately my laptop crashed to many times, so I then gruesomely used the spline tool to manually trace out the panda shape. But in the end, did get the case done, along with some CAD trauma I’ll never forget
Panda takeover!
After my project got rejected, I had a good look on easyeda, and thought that the pcb looked… plain. What’s the point of making a custom pcb if it’s gonna look that boring? So I decided to make it panda themed, and hence call this project panda connector! Had to rewire everything tho which was kinda annoying, but in the end, it was so worth it! Also decided to have a coloured silkscreen (sry hcb but the coloured silkscreen panda just looks so nice!)
I originally was planning to ship this to macondo, as I was following the macondo tutorial, but unfortunatly it ended, so I’m submitting it to stardance. I followed through the macondo tutorial for the usb hub, working for many hours on EasyEDA, but I didn’t know that lapse existed, so that’s like 5 hours gone to waste. This was my very first project with anything related to pcb, so I was kinda new to the concept. But I got it done, and now I’m up to the ordering stage!
