Halt! Input

A toolbox for maintenance/fun things.

Ship #1

Halt! Input is a toolbox containing many features that help accomplish a certain task, or do something silly.

The features so far:
Keyboard blocking
Mouse lock

The above two is the main reason this project exists. Imagine trying to clean your keyboard/mouse and then random things happen in your computer because your keyboard is submitting random strings and your mouse is just registering random clicks (imagine this on Hyprland… yikes)

Updating winget packages
Flush DNS
Clear clipboard
Battery Report

These four features are here; many people probably don’t even know these features existed. The app helps make them accessible and convenient to execute.

chkdsk
dism
sfc
Empty recycle bin

These last four are for storage-related issues. Too much storage? Empty recycle bin in one click. SSD/HDD being funky? Run chkdsk, dism to fix them. Windows being stupider than usual? sfc can fix that.

Polished the code, and had to remove “Restart Windows Explorer” due to privilege conflicts.

Made a recycling bin feature, to clear out some clutter using winshell. Wanted to add a afk feature, but couldn’t wrap my head around threading.
Also managed to fix the mouse locker, and switched from tkinter to CTkinter.

Beginning what I think will become a toolbox of maintenance tools. First one: keyboard blocking. Did some research on it, relearnt functions and modules, and discovered tkinter. Yay!
