“Dexlog” 10 2.0.0!!!!
Going to ship after this devlog. This update was: finished glass mode, two small bugs, added harrys photo to the code app

one was a black backround behind the slides on settings apps but its just because i accidentally moved the div out of the app content class. Then i messed it up again only moving one app to the app content which is also photoed. Eventually i figured it out.

next bug was the harrys code phot not centering in the app so i added padding.
glass mode was alot easier then i anticipated so thats cool. just a bit of js html and css all around the board. transparent backround and stuff.

“Dexlog” 9 1.7.5 Added about creator page and a welcome screen. Welcome screen only shows first time you open the website otherwise it can be opened in settings. This is also where you find about creator. I did the same design of slides but no box because it didnt feel right. I wanted the smile slide reference so i put it on the welcome page thing. Little fun easter egg. Tonight ill do the glass apps then I beleive it should be time to ship 2.0!

“Dexlog” 8 -1.7.0 Calendar update so painful. So much code. So tired. Shoud have gone to bed but im a perfectionist. Heres the just got the calendar working couldnt see the right start day made a bunch of variables and stuff to be able to change that all in js. Also made a quick green button for the love of the game and because my next update will be an enlarge button and maybe glass style apps option avalible.

Calculator update. Not much to say here just plain old math sweet math. TONS of java script why oh why. Also forgive my 67 joke on the calculator. Just had to prove it worked. Next up: the dreaded calendar.

Side note:I dont really like the layout of the numbers and operators on my calculator so i will change that in the future unless someone says somthing else in a review or comment.

Finished the photos app allowing users to upload photos and look at some cool nature ones Ive preuploaded. You can scroll through your photos too.

Also updated weather app to just be plain old weather app that takes your location and does it off that instead of bay harbor :.(.

Next up is calculator and calendar. Peace.

I started a calculator calendar and photos apps but one major problem too many apps for the bar :.) anyway had to switch it to only top and bottom avalible which im not too pleased with unfortunately. I feel like the top app bar is very ugly but maybe thats just because im so used to the bottom app bar.

I had to deal with two bugs. The first is in the pictures where i had to make some js for the title bar to switch down including editing css and changing tags on html.

Then a simpler easier bug was the title bar appearing as white. It was a very simple overlook of forgetting to change the tags in css after changing them in html. I got mad at myself for that one.

Anyways thats it for now next up will be finishing those apps i mentioned earlier.

Added more characters for the background as well as the color photo. This makes the ultamate customization experince. I figured if there was a black and white photo might as well just put the original version on there. Same logic applied to adding more characters. Why settle at just dexter when you can have Rita

“Dexlog” 3-1.3.0 DELETED DARK MODE! Added multiple themes instead. Blue Green Red Black White All of which controled in the new customization app. Arrows to navigate and it automatically adapts to what theme you have up on the customization. Also fixed the bar height in like 10 seconds just needed a simple css fix to 76px so thats dope. Next update look for black and white mode so you can see dexter how he currently is or in color as well as the app icons. Maybe harder than previous updates well see.

“Dexlog” 2-1.2.0 once again updates that came from feedback. Now you can customize where your app bar is. Right is currently the defalt but you also have got left and bottom. Unfortunately ive got some bugs i cant iron out so ill be trying to patch those out in a minute here. The bottom bar is cool but it isnt full size until you select an icon and then it shrinks back to like half size. I am also going to add more customization like themes and text colors and stuff to make it a better ui and experience.

“Dexlog”-1-DexterOs1.1.1-Using feedback from my first ship I was able to adjust to what you guys wanted. (YAY) Spoiler mode is now in settings and you can turn it on or off so you dont accidentily learn about cases from the show. Expanded clock related features other than just time in the top right corner which has been there since day one we now have alarms timers and stopwatches. To use alarm click on each indivdual hour or minute the am or pm type which one you want. timer type hour minute second in then countdown will begin with start timer. Stopwatch start stop and pause do their name. Thanks for your time!

DexterOS finally has all the apps I first had in mind I will cover what new ones I have made since my last log. Forensics covers forensics 101 to give you sight into dexters career or daytime job and what it would be like. Bay harbor weather is the tempurature humidty and visibility for bay harbor in miami because why not. Evidence locker can help you keep private notes protected by a pin you create then it will save it as long as you keep DexterOS open because it isnt stored on the cloud i think. Miami metro Operations gives you insight into how your computer is currently operating so you can adjust accordingly. Case list shows major targets related to dexter from the view of miami metro or what the public would theoretically know if not for the show. Settings only has light and dark mode at the moment but it was a cool fade in and out between the modes so enjoy.

DexterOS-Added Harrys Code app and made the apps look like slides in a box sort of. I couldnt really nail the look of slides in the box so its a bit of a creative liberty sorry guys. The app allows you to scroll through the major points of harrys code to see get the just at least for now may expand it later. Very fun seeing this come together. Keeping the vibe that the tv show gave off in posters and stuff to make it feel like almost an offical website but not really. Thanks for your time.

DexterOS I lowkey dont like my wisdom os anymore so ill be making another one🎉 Who dosent love some good dexter? I know I do so ill do anything-LEGAL-to feel like I have that much aura and what better way then to make an entire OS revolving around this tough guy? Anyway should be coming soon just got to make some more tough as nails apps then ship so cya later.
