I finished writing my code and after verifying it I uploaded the code in my microcontroller [ESP32] after that I plug in my display to see if it works. At first, the 2nd col LEDs and the 4th col LEDs does not seem to work. Perhaps, it was my bad soldering skills. So, I started looking for leaks or I should say bad circuits. After some fixing, It seem to be better but still the 2nd col LEDs and a 4th col 4th row LED did not work. So using my multimeter continuity I eliminated some more troubleshooting and it finally worked like fantastic.
I updated my Readme and Github and I think it is ready for submitting.
That’s All.
Finally, the hardware is done. I took a lot of patience and troubleshooting to get this right. I must confess, the soldering is not the best but it is under progress. I begin writing code for microcontroller in the Arduino IDE which I forgot to take the screenshot of.
That’s All.
So, It has been long since I last worked on this project. So, working on this gives me a long feeling. I suppose, this project has taught me a lot. Any way, I continued the assembling work and almost at the end. Made some minor file updates and also added a BOM.file .
That’s all.
I was planning to finish my soldering but it went wrong. Here’s what happened, I bought enough soldering wire for my project[The last picture below] and was ready to finish all the soldering work of my project. As I was working through, the worst thing happened, my Soldering Iron BROKE [the Tip]. I guess this project is gonna take long time.[There is a picture of Broken Tip too.].
That’s all.
I started to solder all the components which I assembled in last devlog.
That’s All
I add the other components which were not added in the previous devlog. I was confused between two resistors about their resistance so I just calculated it. I had a little trouble getting the components in the right place but I figured it out. So, this is how it looks till now. I think will work on the programming the microcontroller or maybe soldering the components in the next devlog.
In the devlog, I got all the components required and started the assembling process. Unfortunately I had to check all the leds before using them and turned out some of them were fused. I still have to solder everything and also code the esp32.
Final updates and changes to schematics of my project 2d matrix display. I tried making it more neater and organized than before. I removed all the excess text and other interferences. I think it is done. But I do think I have to make some changes after I make it physically [Maybe].
This Project is a continue work imported from macondo and will continue in stardance
