I made another polishing update
MafiaParty: Now polish (🇵🇱)
- Added icons to all the buttons that we’re missing
- Swipe-to-reveal no longer snaps open, making it harder to accidentally reveal a role to someone
- Added a new setting to reset the game upon win, you will still get a confirmation prompt

First devlog after shipping whoa! Thank you all for checking it out
Here’s what I improved:
- The X button will no longer trigger card animations making you miss it
- Reworked role reveal, now you drag the card to reveal so it no longer makes you accidentally trigger the vote confirmation and is generally nicer to use
- Removed tap highlight color so buttons look nicer on mobile(on my phone at least)
A small update (took a while) but a nice qol update

MafiaParty: Now COMPLETE!
What it is:
A small site/app(PWA) that facilitates when playing big games of the party game Mafia (Werewolf)
What it isn’t:
Not a game, a tool. It does not replace the need of a storyteller or cards.
Ohh boy this one was a big one, one final push before I call it good.
I am happy in the state it is right now, finished up the last of the suggestions I had gotten while playing games using it (eg. player count) and I can say I am happy with it and I will soon also publish it ### What’s new:
- How the switches look
- Checkboxed save state upon reload
- Back button now works way better and will not mess up more that it fixes
- Card events (voting players, selecting targets) was cleaned up
- Cards can now be focused and interacted using tab
- Added optional settings
- Added night & day counter
- Added player count with total and alive players
MafiaParty: Now PWA!
What it is:
A small site/app(PWA) that facilitates when playing big games of the party game Mafia (Werewolf)
What it isn’t:
Not a game, a tool. It does not replace the need of a storyteller or cards.
New with this update
- Added a manifest so now the app can be installed
- Service worker for offline support
- Favicons!!! (spent way to long on this)
- Renamed the site to be more inline with the github (MafiaHelper -> MafiaParty)
- Made nicer overlays scrollbars and added fixed gutters
Added some aria labels, fixed some issues and now site gets 100% on lighthouse!
This does not mean it’s perfect but for me it’s a cool thing to brag about :)

What it is:
A small site/app(soon I hope, PWA) that facilitates when playing big games of the party game Mafia (Werewolf)
What it isn’t:
Not a game, a tool. It does not replace the need of a storyteller or cards.
Battle tested, it was able to handle two games of 27 players!
With multiple killers, doctors, detectives and other roles, we were able to handle two VERRRY long games of mafia without issues caused by the app.
It wasn’t perfect, but it did showcase what the app is capable off and just how easy it is for the storyteller when using this tool.
Since the last devlog I made it look much nicer on desktop and mobile by
adding fixed bottom controls and better consistent cards.
Players can now be deleted making usability much nicer since they also
get saved, so starting a game with mostly the same players is easier.
Added saving and loading and redid all of the night roles checks to be easier to manage and change plus delete all button and individual delete
hihi, I made this during summer camp (and I still am there lol) to be used to help me moderate large games of mafia
Mafia is an irl game similar to Among Us with roles and actions at night, and voting during the day
This is not a full mafia app and is meant to only help the moderator not remember what happened every night since with many players IT GETS VERY HARD
My experience hosting a game of mafia for 22 people without this was horrendous
