I have one thing before I can approve:
I need you to cost optimize your BOM! Please try to source as much as possible from aliexpress rather than amazon - amazon usually charges a big premium.
I can't seem to find your 3D models anywhere, nor any code. If code isn't applicable to your project that would be fine, but you do need a CAD folder with the step files in order for reviewers to make sure everything's legit. Your project is super cool though! I'm interested in RC planes as well, and it's nice to see someone making their first plane!

Hi! I just Reviewed the funding rejection and changed some stuff:
Updated the BOM.csv with cheaper stuff to reduce the total price from 581 USD to around 496 USD
Worked for like 1.5 hours just on remodeling Atlas in blender, with a proper airfoil for both the Elevators and the Main wings. Aside from that, I also added cutouts on the bottom, Landing gear and the twin DC motors to visualise what it would look like
An RC cargo plane is a really cool idea! Though, feel this project could be made for a lot cheaper, e.g. by ordering less foamboard (do you need 10*2*60x84=100.800cm^2 of foamboard?) and choosing cheaper options for other components as well. I like your concept, if you can flesh out the CAD a bit more (add more details, ensure the side profile is aerodynamic, make sure the airfoil is proper, NASA publishes a very good free airfoil sim!, and add other details such as suspension and landing gear, etc.) I can see this getting approved!
Modeling Atlas!
Today I modeled Atlas in blender, and now im going to test it’s Center of gravity to make sure it wont just nosedive!

I just created by Bill of materials and submitted my project for approval. This might be stardance’s Most Expensive project ever, at 581.715 dollars!

Today marks the very first day that I begin work on This new project. I made this plan for funding. My estimate is that it will cost around $350 USD ish give or take! Also mods if u read this u could prolly find all the electronics on this website called flite test. CYA IN THE NEXT ONE!
