6 days ago Corez went live on corez.games. Since then I moved it to corez.io, shipped a HUGE v2, and rebuilt a ton of the game based on what players told me. It’s honestly a different game now, so make sure to read it!

NEW HOME: corez.io

• The game now lives at corez.io (old links still bring you here)
• Moved to faster US servers, so way less lag
• The homepage loads about twice as fast and you can hit Play right away
• There’s a whole live raid playing behind the menu now, tanks mining and breaking rocks

ROCKS GOT A GLOW UP

• 6 rock biomes: Sandstone, Red Clay, Mossy Hollows, Crystal Caves, Magma Veins and Obsidian Deep
• Gems sit inside the rocks, and the deeper you go the tougher the rock and the better the loot
• Mining feels way better: rock dust flies into your tank as you shoot, ore pays gems while you chip it, and gems fly straight to you when it breaks
• Mining is faster for everyone, no Mining Power points needed to have fun

HOW RAIDS WORK NOW

• Most points wins! Points = gems you bank + kills + crowns
• At the last storm the top 3 players get crowns. Hold one for bonus points, or knock it off someone to steal it and their points
• Whoever is in 1st gets a bounty on their head, so nobody can just coast to the win
• Kills and gems are worth more as the storm closes in
• Every storm starts as the full rock circle and slides to a random spot

DYING DOESN’T WRECK YOU ANYMORE

• Banked gems are 100% safe, always
• You keep 30% of the gems you were carrying
• “Respawn as (your tank)” puts you right back in with the same tank and stats
• Same stats and Random build buttons, so no more spending 50 points every life
• Vault shield when you leave a vault after banking, and safer respawns away from whoever just killed you

THE CORE FIGHTS BACK

• The Core now shoots bullets you can dodge and sends drones you can shoot down
• Land the final hit for a 20% chance at a random shop item you don’t own yet!

TONS OF NEW STUFF

• 81 achievements, including secret ones
• Raid perks every 5000 points
• Every skin redone as clean patterns that keep your team colour
• Sidekicks now mine rocks with you
• Daily rewards that give gemdust for the shop, and a View All tab to preview every cosmetic
• New HP and shield bars, a cleaner HUD, better chat bubbles
• Team Banks: break the banner to own it
• Press B to bank everything

DUOS

• Fixed joining alone, the “away” bug and getting stuck on connecting
• Crowns work in Duos now, and they count for your team

COMING NEXT: 650+ NEW TANKS

• A brand new Splitter branch
• Tier 5 tanks you unlock by growing to 2x your size mid-raid
• Over 770 tanks in total, and bots use them too
