SeekPDF is a desktop application that helps users instantly search through their PDF collection without uploading anything to the cloud. Instead of manually opening dozens or hundreds of PDFs, users can search for a keyword and instantly find every matching document. The app is built with privacy in mind, keeping all files on the user's computer while making document discovery fast and effortless. Planned features: 🔍 Local keyword search across PDFs 📄 Shows which PDFs contain the searched term 📍 Displays the page number where the keyword appears ⚡ Fast offline search with no cloud upload 🖥️ Simple desktop interface Future versions will include automatic folder monitoring, OCR support for scanned PDFs, live search, and additional file format support.

devlog #1 - seekpdf SeekPDF is a desktop application that helps users instantly search through their PDF collection without uploading anything to the cloud. Actually I got the idea for this project 2 days back , when I was trying to find a physics paper pdf , and my teacher sends more than 30 question papers , and it all was all a mess , so I thought Ill make a fun project where I will just type any keyword of the pdf stuff and it will find that , haha . today I learned about pathlib and os library . good night “hackers”
