Final Devlog!

• Added a “show more” movies button. Now users are not limited to the first 10 search results that come from the OMDb API

• Refactored README to include technical details about the website & how to run it locally

Almost finished my website! Yayy!
Updates:

• Added the ability to add & remove movies from your watchlist, finally
• Added quality of life improvements (a loading indicator, a style update when adding movies, and a fallback poster image)

Hello guys! This is the third Devlog of my worth-watch website
What I did:

• Added the ability to actually search for movies
• Learnt how to correctly use the OMDb (Open Movie Database) API

What’s next:

• I’ll add the ability to add movies to your watchlist & work on the watchlist page logic
• The current search only shows 10 results at first, I gotta add a “show more” button to show the rest of the movies

Devlog 2 !!

• I added these cute labels for when there’re no movies to show in the page
• Spent almost 2 hours creating their css code, then I refactored other parts of the code to reduce redundancy & duplication
• It’s taking me too much time to write css by hand really, I’m still learning though and I think my css skills will get better with time hopefully 🙏🏻😁

Worth Watch is a website where you can search for your favorite movies & add them to your watchlist

I finished the header & search sections HTML & CSS code
The most time consuming part was playing with values to make the header & search sizes responsive to different screens (I’m using plain CSS)
