Work Done:

• Completed the visual design and structure of the Cherry Terminal.

• Styled the terminal window to align with the overall WebOS aesthetic.

• Added design elements such as a custom header, window controls, and terminal prompt.

• JavaScript functionality is currently in progress; the next step is implementing interactive commands and terminal behaviour.

• Planning additional visual enhancements and animations to make the terminal feel more polished and immersive.

Challenges:

• Designing a terminal that matched the soft cherry aesthetic of the WebOS while still looking like a functional terminal.
• Balancing visual appeal with usability to ensure the interface remained clean and easy to navigate.

Progress:

• Finalized the overall layout of the Cherry Terminal window.
• Designed a soft cherry-themed interface with a pastel header and dark terminal workspace for better contrast.
• Chose a clean monospace font and refined the colour palette to maintain consistency with the desktop design.
• Planned the command input area and overall user interface for an interactive terminal experience. 🫶🏻
