A mail app that doesn't suck. Using Svelte + Drizzle + PostgreSQL, Athena is lightweight, customizable, and easy to use.
spent lots of time and a lot of headaches improving email speeds. its now a bit slower than gmail but a lot faster than previous.
read receipts on emails that carry over to other email apps. also, i can now write and send emails :)

i am gonna lock in and start coding now!!
made a home page in figma. still need to finish main and add other UI like writing an email, settings, etc
