Basic hackpad just to learn pcb and soldering. I have plenty of cad experience.
I wanted to customize the casing for my hackpad a little more so I applied a weight saving feature script onto the case on Onshape. I shaped the rib lines to give it a lattice like structure, and made sure there was still room for the screws. I also worked on the firmware part of the hackpad, just coding it to copy, paste, and undo as it was all i could think of right now. I’ll probably change this later on.
just figured out how to log things so here i am. just made the most basic pcb on kicad and updated my cad on onshape. i did the cad earlier but didnt know how to log so i just updated the numbers. now i need to figure out how to code this.
