Basic hackpad just to learn pcb and soldering. I have plenty of cad experience.
nice job on the hackpad, the case is super clean! currnetly the PCB is an exact replica of the tutorial pcb. you should add your own features to it! resubmit once you have added something of your own!
I wanted to customize the casing for my hackpad a little more so I applied a weight saving feature script onto the case on Onshape. I shaped the rib lines to give it a lattice like structure, and made sure there was still room for the screws. I also worked on the firmware part of the hackpad, just coding it to copy, paste, and undo as it was all i could think of right now. I’ll probably change this later on.
just figured out how to log things so here i am. just made the most basic pcb on kicad and updated my cad on onshape. i did the cad earlier but didnt know how to log so i just updated the numbers. now i need to figure out how to code this.
