New Bugs have been fixed. The lumi bot did not have it’s input area so it finally works. To use Lumi bot, you have to type the name of the app and it will give you some info about it. Also the black theme app icons were not visible so this bug has been fixed aswl.

I made a webOS called LucidOS. I have used AI in some parts but it took quite a few hours to build this and have learnt loads of things as it is my first time. Lot of examples and ideas came into my mind and i could finally put it up here. It has its own bot and the UI and extra features make it amusing to me. I am proud that i learnt alot from this course of making a webOS. It has fun games and in-built generating facts and jokes (i havent used API) but it still is a good and works well now. I have added three themes of different colours to suite the user's vibe. Thats all there is i can tell about my project. Try it out to see more features.

This is gonna be one of the biggest updates i have done so far. I will continue to fixing bugs or adding more based on ratings. I have used AI a lot for bug fixes and for the new app - LucidTunes, but it is worth it. I have also added features like a widget which tracks ur latest apps and usage. I have recently updated icons and added a new black theme which has an interactive background and a new bot called Lumi which u can only ask about any app and its current features. I hate to say that i used AI for the tranfer of themes between switching them, but i have learned quite a lot of things from this code. And that’s all i have added on the last update. Added some comments in the github page on some things aswll to let you know about the code.

LucisOS can finally change it’s theme to blue! Apps are finally proportioned properly and new fixes and bugs have been solved. (Well me and AI had to work together to figure out the plan and it kinda works for the theme changing setting).

I created a Settings app that lets users switch between the default purple theme and a blue theme. I also added a Surprise Me app that randomly opens one of the installed apps. And things got better since then,

What i added so far -

Settings app
Blue theme
Theme switching system

LucidOS has made really great progress. It has loads of apps with many features. Icons are AI generated. U can learn more about lucidOS from the about app found in the corner.

Today I started adding apps to LucidOS. I made a Pixel Art app which is a 20×20 canvas and a Weather app that shows weather conditions and humidity when a city name is entered. I found a few bugs while making the close button for the apps.

What i added (pixel art will get a w upgraded after this devlog)

Pixel Art app
20×20 drawing canvas
Weather app
City-based weather search
Weather condition display
Humidity display
And many apps to try after Demo URL releases!

LucidOS has just started. It will have many interactive apps and will be released days from now as a demo url. The pic below will be the wallpaper for the LucisOS!(looks lowk nice i suppose)

Today I made a new wallpaper, added a live clock and date display, and a really nice bottom dock for launching special type applications. While working on the dock and time display, I ran into a few bugs with positioning and layout, but I was able to fix them after some testing.

What i added so far-

New LucidOS wallpaper
Live clock and date display
Bottom dock for launching apps(Just started)
Fixed time bugs.
