I’m making the case for the Hackpad but I’m a little confused. I know I need the opening or the usb and I need the screw mounts, but do I add a ledge or area for the pcb to hang on or just let it free sit in the case?
Hey! Your case looks really good so far! You could make a ledge or you could let it free sit. In my opinion, having it just free sit is a lot easier, but you will have to have a tolerance. The case should be a little bigger than the pcb, but not so much so that it falls out. In my experience, I think like a .02-.05 inch offset could work, but don’t quote me on that. The reason for this is that a lot of 3d printers might not print exactly to the size you want it to. I really hope this helps, and good luck :D!

I recommend leaving the PCB secured, but if there are no fragile components then it’s not necessary.
