A goofy little OS where you can see into my mind and creations that can be run in the web!

Ship #1

I made a webOS that essentially shows a lot about myself through the different apps (whether it be my own ideas or random creations). Initially it was challenging to figure out what i wanted to do without being too similar to the tutorial. Also I didn't really know what I was doing. Over time I found my groove and made melOS the mildly personal thing that it is.

I added one final app (for now) and finally deployed it with github!

I rediscovered (and edited for colors) a snake clone i made a while back and added it in as another app. I also implemented custom hidden messages that only show up with certain keywords

Kind of gave up on following the tutorial by now. Added two more apps: Melbot, which is a fake AI that responds with a bunch of pre-written sarcastic replies no matter what. And “Thinks”, which is essentially where I can put random questions/thoughts/deep sentences that come to mind (if I choose to).

finished part 3 of the tutorial. currently struggling to move the styles to css (that’s what you get for choosing to use a million different fonts). Working behind the scenes on some other artwork to make it more personal

Realized that I haven’t done one of these yet. I’ve mostly completed up to part 2 of the tutorial. Tried my best to deviate from the tutorial but I’ll make it even more personal once I’ve finished the basics
