My awesome macropad!

A custom macropad with 6 mechanical switches, a rotary encoder, and an OLED display, built with a Seeeduino XIAO microcontroller. Designed in KiCad and manufactured via JLCPCB.

Ship #1 Pending review

I built a custom macropad with 6 keys, a rotary encoder, an OLED display, a custom PCB, and a 3D printed case.

The most challenging part was designing the PCB and making sure all the components were connected correctly. I spent a lot of time learning KiCad and checking the schematic before finishing the board.

I'm proud that I designed the hardware myself and turned the idea into a real project instead of using an existing design.

To test the project, connect it to a computer using USB. The keys can be programmed for shortcuts and productivity tasks, while the encoder controls media functions such as volume. The OLED display provides visual feedback for the current mode and actions.
