And were off making the CAD models for the case and plate.
Overall not that difficult. I made the shape of the plate and case, inspiered by the cookie cat from Steven Universe and to stay on theme to the title of the macropad. Added an area for my own lipo and a tp4056 for chargin the lipo and the meowpad and now have do some slight polishing here and there and thats it (+ the work on github but besides that)

Anyway, heres the final cad model(i hope):

Heyoo, today I started work on a hackpad (a Meowpad™)following the guide for a hackpad. I started by drawing out the schematic and the rough pcb design which took lot more than expected but, overall was quite fun. The final hackpad, would have 3x3 grid matrix of diode+switches for optimal layout and 2 rotary encoders with 9 SK6812 mini-e RGB-LEDs one on each switch and cant forget the XIAO MCU too. Next up would be to polish the deisgn add some cool silkscreen while im at it and finish the debug the layout!
