We’re back! I got discouraged from this project some time ago when I kept not getting credit for my work and not having any idea how to use FusionDesk. But seeing OpenAI’s new codex micro selling for a staggering $230 gave me a newfound reason to keep going. I know can do better. So instead of just buttons that automate things like typing out “git log” or “git push”, I want to build a keypad that controls my favorite AI coding tool, opencode. I planned out all the buttons I need for all the functions and what they’ll do and read the whole guide.

WHoo onto designing the top of the case… which shouldn’t be stuck inside the bottom of the case but i have no idea how to fix it. I also have no idea how to get the holes to stay in the middle between the corner of the inside and outside.

I also spent about 5 hours designing my PCB earlier, which sucks since i recorded NONE of it….. :(

Anyway I wired it twice and settled on putting the horisontal lines on one side and vertical on the other. DRC says the design is ok other than silkscreen (printed ink layer)

So uhhh I just learned about lapse so I didn’t get credit for about 6 hours of work.

Anyone know a better way to align the holes?
