I have always been annoyed by the clutter that fills my email inbox or my downloads folder and I have come up with an easy-to-use solution that is called the OmniSort. This is a macropad that allows easy sorting of files or emails by using a 3x3 switch matrix, 1 rotary encoder, and an oled screen and makes it easy by using macro commands to sort files into different locations (Eg. middle left key means move to “pictures” folder). What I found super challenging is the measurements, particularly the estimation of how high the USB-C port has to be in order to properly design the case. I found this project very fun to do and i’m looking forward to bringing it to a physical tangible piece!
