Today I worked on routing the traces and creating some silkscreen art. I routed the traces pretty easily because I didn’t need to use any vias. It was kind of relaxing like people say. Anyways, once I finished that, I actually redid it because I needed to slightly rearrange the components to make sure the PCB fit within 100mm x 100mm. Then, I created a logo for the ControlPad, and added it to the PCB along with a Hack Club one (of course). I am going to start on the case next so hopefully that goes well.
Quote of the devlog: If the code works first try, you know somethings up.
I worked on the schematic and layout of the ControlPad today. i have not routed the traces yet but that is the next step. I have the switches set up in a matrix configuration because there is 9 of them. The reason for the offset layout is because it looks sweet and because I will be using it with my left hand.
Anyways, that is all for today and next I will route the traces.
